Hello, we are Matthew and Mairi Baxter of CochnoCampers.
We have been married since May 2019 and spent the majority of our marriage in lockdown. However, in that time, like many others we decided to buy our first campervan...Wee Duncolm. After a year of enjoying the campervan life we thought that it was only right that we would start hiring it out so that others could try it for themselves and enjoy what the UK has to offer. We have two campervans available...
Wee Duncolm (Black Camper)
Hello we are pleased to offer our campervan Wee Duncolm for hire for your next holiday! Wee Duncolm lives in north west Glasgow the gateway to the Scottish Highlands.
Wee Duncolm is a much loved converted Vauxhall Vivaro. In our first year of owning him he has seen the beaches of the west coast of Scotland, the Cornish and Pembrokeshire coasts and the rugged peaks of the Cairngorm Mountains among others.
If you have ever thought about exploring Scotland in comfort and style then Wee Duncolm is the campervan for you! We are easily accessible by car, plane, bus and train. Within a 20 minute drive to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and on to the famous Scottish highlands.
Included:
• 5 seat belts
• 4 berth (Pull out rock and roll bed and pop top bed) pop top bed recommended for children but adults can sleep in the pop top using extension piece.
• Manual elevating pop top
• Roof rack
• Gas hob, fridge, sink and cold running water
• Solar panel and engine to battery charger so you can go off grid for 2-3 days at a time depending on weather/electrical usage
• Gas powered heater
• Easily assembled table and outdoor table with 2 chairs
• Poor radio signal due to pop top. Recommend connecting phone to van via Bluetooth
• Chemical toilet available on request.

• x2 UK plug (one powered off of mains supply and one off of 400w inverter)
• Small battery powered outdoor shower
• Pots, crockery, cutlery & cleaning supplies

For insurance purposes we require the following on booking:
• Copy of the photo card drivers’ licence (address & ID must be up to date)
• Online licence check – Please note, DVLA licence checks can only be carried out on driving licences issued from mainland UK
• Two proofs of address from separate sources
• £500 security deposit
• Signed rental agreement.
Additional Criteria:
• Must be 25 years old or older and have at least 2 years driving experience (Full UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand Licence types accepted other licence types will be referred to our insurer)
• Two, 3 point convictions are acceptable (i.e. 2x SP30’s, 3pts each) without referral.
Single convictions totalling 6 points+ will require referral unless otherwise
specified below
• No more than one fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last three years

Fyloch (White Camper)
Hello we are pleased to offer our campervan for hire for your next holiday! Fynloch lives in north west Glasgow the gateway to the Scottish Highlands.
After many happy campers with our first campervan Wee Duncolm (please see our reviews), we have decided to add another camper. Fynloch is a cosy and much loved camper that has been spotlessly converted and has great Features.
If you have ever thought about exploring Scotland in comfort and style then Fynloch is the campervan for you! We are easily accessible by car, plane, bus and train. Within a 20 minute drive to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and on to the famous Scottish highlands.

Great motorhome. Our first ever experience in one and it was perfect. The van itself was a very easy drive and great size to meet every need. It was a fab weekend. Matthew was very helpful in the lead up to the handing over of the keys. Some very useful tips passed on too. We cannot fault our time away in the motorhome. Totally recommend! September 2022

We had a lovely 5 nights in Wee Duncolm. Matthew was very helpful in the lead up to the booking and we needed very little in the way of camping gear as the campervan is so well supplied. It was the first camping trip with our dog and it went brilliantly with all the space available in the van. Anything we needed to know was covered in their instructional video and any further info was covered by Matthew when he handed the keys over to us. The van itself drives like a dream and we made it up to and all around Skye and back in one tank. Thanks for the hire Matthew and Wee Duncolm! July 2022

We had an amazing trip round Scotland made all the better because of the camper. The van was lovely drove really well and everything worked perfectly. Right from the start communication was prompt and helpful, all my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. The video I was sent about the van was really helpful whilst travelling as it answered any practical questions. The sleeping arrangements worked really well and the bedding provided was quality. All in all I would definitely hire again the price and quality of the camper was brilliant May 2022

We had as great time away in Wee Duncolm. The van is very well equipped, straightforward to drive and super comfy to sleep in. Mairi and Matthew provided a comprehensive intro video beforehand which explained exactly how everything worked which was very helpful. We had no problems at all during our stay and there was great communication throughout. We wouldn't hesitate to hire the van again. May 2022

Would absolutely recommend renting the Wee Duncolm. The van was perfectly equipped, beautifully decorated, and very clean upon arrival. We didn't need to bring anything other than food! We were provided a detailed video which explained everything perfectly. We had an emergency with my child on the day we were meant to collect the van and Matthew and Mairi were extremely understanding and accommodating. Despite our wee emergency, we still managed to go and have a lovely time in the campervan. 5/5, would recommend. May 2022

We are so grateful to Matthew and Mairi for making our trip to the highlands so good!! Wee Duncolm has everything you need and they paid attention to every single detail. The van comes with everything you need - including a portable shower! (Very useful after surfing on the beach!!) They were very good with communication all the time and also providing us flexibility with times. The bed was very comfy and in general, the van was very easy to use and drive.
